Learning Support Assistants required for Secondary Schools across Cardiff, Newport and The Vale

Staffroom Education are currently looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to work within Secondary Schools in Cardiff, Newport and The Vale. As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you will be required to perform general LSA duties and help within their Behavioural and Autism Unit.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working with KS3 and KS4 as well as children and young adults who are on the autistic spectrum. As this is a varied role you will also be required to work with children with challenging behaviour, so any experience within this field would be an advantage. We would also require good subject knowledge, excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, as the successful candidate will be asked to move between different classes.
