Biology Teacher – Newport

Staffroom Education are currently short-listing for a Teacher of Biology vacancy in Newport , starting immediately for at least one term. We welcome applications at this time from both NQT’s and fully qualified Science Teachers.

Job Requirements:

Secondary School Teaching Assistants – Vale of Glamorgan

Staffroom Education are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSA) to work within Secondary Schools in The Vale of Glamorgan. With the new year upon us and the busy period for supply; we are looking for candidates who are flexible and have a passion of working with children as we can offer a range of Teaching Assistant vacancies within several secondary schools in The Vale. We cover day to day positions as well as short and long-term vacancies.

The schools in which we are working with not only require general support within the classroom but also offer a number of 1:1 positions. So, if you are passionate about working with children and have experience within this field then why not apply. We also work closely with ACT Training where you can study your Teaching Assistant qualification whilst on supply with Staffroom.

Candidates should have at least 3 months, recent experience of working within a classroom environment or hold the relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification Level 2, Level 3, Level 4 or degree in Early Years and Education or Childhood Studies.

You’ve scored that dream job and you’re currently really enjoying throwing yourself into it. (Woops) But we urge you to try and change that – make self care a vital part of your daily routine. According to the Huffington Post, self care practices improve the mental and physical health of workers which results in boosting the employers productivity. Put simply, taking time out to care for your self will make you a better version of your self and that will have a beneficial input on your career.
