Teacher of English in Newport

Staffroom Education are seeking a lively and enthusiastic teacher of English to make a positive and energetic contribution to one of our fantastic schools in the Newport area.

This a fixed term, one year, full time position that is due to begin in September -You must be able to teach to both key stages 3 & 4 (with elements of key stage 5) and we welcome applications from both newly qualified, and qualified teachers.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

  • Good subject knowledge.
  • The ability to inspire learning.
  • Good classroom management skills.

  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person;
