Primary Teaching Assistant - Part-Time

Staffroom Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work within a Primary School in Swansea. This would be a part-time role.

Role Requirements:
- At least 3 months of experience working with children in a professional capacity, for example: Volunteering at your local school, church group or community group, sports coaching, mentoring or similar.
- We welcome applicants with childcare/education specific qualifications that have experience of working with children within the past year.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Help prepare the classroom before class 
- Tidy the classroom at the end of each class 
- Support the teacher when needed 
- Support reading groups 
- Help with group activities 
- Provide one to one support as well as working within small groups 
- Help with administrative tasks 
- Provide feedback to the teacher on the pupil’s progress 
- To be aware of the planning and preparation of work 
- To assist with the development of basic Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills.
