Staffroom Education are currently looking for a Maths Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Newport. This role is immediate start and will be full-time. We welcome applications both from Experienced Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).

Job Requirements:

  • A first-class subject knowledge across all Key Stages

  • Thorough classroom management strategies

  • A passion for raising student expectations and achievements

  • The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and pupils

  • The ability to remain up to date with educational developments and changes whilst undertaking the role

  • Awareness of and compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection
